Snow depth at Schweitzer is measured daily by SNOTEL station #738, located at Schweitzer Basin, near Sandpoint, Idaho at an elevation of 6,090 ft. This automated sensor is operated by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and has been recording continuous snowpack data since 1979.
