Cascade Mountain Forecasts

Select a mountain to view detailed snowfall data and predictions

By skiers, for skiers.

Cascade Snow was built by people who spend their winters in the mountains and got tired of bouncing between five different government websites to answer one simple question: how much snow is up there right now?

We pull live data from NRCS SNOTEL sensors across 24 mountains in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho and combine it with multi-model weather forecasts, wind data at three elevation zones, and 40+ years of historical snowpack records — all in one clean, free dashboard updated every morning. No paywalls, no ads, no fluff. Just the numbers you need to plan your next day out.

Whether you’re a backcountry skier checking storm totals, a climber watching spring melt, or a pass commuter planning your drive — Cascade Snow is built to give you the most accurate, current snowpack data in the Pacific Northwest.

⚠ Avalanche Safety

Snow data is not a substitute for an avalanche forecast. Before entering the backcountry, always check the current advisory from your regional avalanche center. In the Pacific Northwest, that’s the Northwest Avalanche Center (NWAC).

Carry rescue gear (beacon, shovel, probe), travel with a partner, take an avalanche education course, and make conservative terrain choices. No amount of data replaces training, experience, and good judgment in avalanche terrain.
